Arguing and sticking together, growing up together, sharing secrets: scenes from a sibling relationship. 13-year-old Alina sees herself in her quarrels with her elder sister. Two teenagers experience the highs and lows of being sisters.

Gelb und Pink is being screened in the School Film programme of the Dortmund | Cologne International Women's Film Festival in the documentary film block Being Different in cooperation with doxs! Duisburg.


Alexandra Schröder, born in Berlin in 1975, studied at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg and at the Art Academy Düsseldorf in the photography class under Prof. Bernd Becher and Prof. Thomas Ruff, and in the film class under Prof. Vadim Glowna. From 2005 to 2009, she took a postgraduate course on Film/Television at the Cologne Academy of Media Arts.
