Office Killer
(USA 1997, D: Cindy Sherman)

Metamorphoses, extreme physical transformations in the tradition of the female body horror combined with questions about our trust in the world – these are typical elements of the horror genre. In this series of unusually interpreted feature films with strong female characters, women directors experiment with different forms of horror bodies and relate these to the critical questions of our time. The spectrum covers everything from cannibalistic coming-of-age movie and sentimental silent „Heimatfilm“ with zombie parade to neo-feminist thriller or witty horror comedy.
