"Sorry Curator, I never meant to hurt you I never meant to make you cry. But tonight, I'm cleaning out my concept." Annette Hollywood Sorry Curator is a parody on a hip-hop battle and the art business. The video is part of an installation of the same name, in turn part of the project Kunst im Zeitalter ihrer weltweiten Käuflichkeit.


Media artist ANNETTE HOLLYWOOD was born in 1969 in Mainz. She completed a course in wood caving before studying art at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig [University of Art] and New York University. Since 2001 her works have been exhibited around the world, including the newmuseum of Contemporary Art in New York and the Museu de Arte Moderna in Sao Paulo. Apart from a number of awards, she also won a scholarship to the German Study Centre, Venice. Hollywood lives and works in Berlin.
