»Towards the end of the 1990s, the time had come to listen to something new. Mego, Phonotaktik and rhiz were all happening in Vienna and, centre stage as it were, a new ›post-rock‹ band of three well-groomed, good-looking men: Radian.«
In 2009, Radian released their fifth album: »chimeric«. Lotte Schreiber sampled a song called »Git Cut Noise« and made a video clip juxtaposing the rhythmically driven geometric forms and the flare-up noise of the band with characters and scenes from the Prater – Vienna’s famous amusement park.
Lotte Schreiber lives and works in Vienna as a film-maker and artist. Her films and videos have been shown at various festivals thoughout the world, including the Visions du Réel in Nyon, the Hong Kong International Film Festival and the Jihlava Documentary Film Festival in Czechia. For Borgate, she won the award for Best Documentary Film at the 2008 Milan Doc Festival in Italy. In 2002, she received the award for Best Experimental Film at the New York Underground Film Festival.
