The IWFF Dortmund | Cologne gratulates the Austrian filmmaker Jessica Hausner on several awards at the Film Festival in Venice for her latest feature film LOURDES.
LOURDES tells the story of a disabled woman (Sylvie Testud) who does not believe in miracles but who seemingly has been cured in Lourdes.
Hausner received the "Signis" and the "Fipresci"-Award and two other prizes.

In 2007 Jessica Hausner was guest of the IWFF in Dortmund with her former film HOTEL that was part of the International Feature Film Competition for Women Directores. The Jury awardes her work with the Special Mention. [back]
