Synopsis
Memotekið is an experimental dance film, exploring the contrast between a minimalistic movement vocabulary and the overwhelming nature of the Faroe Islands. The film is shot on Super-8 in order to create a surreal and fairytale-like atmosphere.

 

Biography
MARIANNA MORKORE began her filmmaking career during fashion studies at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication, London. Rannvá Káradóttir has emerged as one of the most prominent Danish choreographers since she graduated from London Contemporary Dance School. She is exploring dance in various contexts and cross disciplinary works.
